About Always June
Always June Designs is part of the Kin & Co. family—a creative arm dedicated to styling and décor that transform gatherings into unforgettable moments.

Founded by Debra Norwood, Always June blends a love for beauty, detail, and storytelling to create environments guests never forget.

We style events at Kin & Co.’s signature venues, L’Eau Hill and Norwood’s Vineyard, as well as select off-site experiences for our Legacy Clients.

We’re currently seeking an Event Styling & Decor Coordinator to join our growing creative team. If you love working with your hands, have a sharp eye for detail, and thrive in a creative, entrepreneurial environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Event Stylist: Role Overview

The Event Styling & Decor Coordinator is a creative and operational support role that works side-by-side with our lead designer to bring event visions to life. You’ll help with every stage—from pulling and prepping décor to executing flawless installations and breakdowns.

This role is perfect for someone who is:

  • Detail-obsessed and committed to quality

  • Comfortable working in a variety of settings (design studio/home base, storage facility, event venues)

  • Reliable, adaptable, and ready to pitch in wherever needed

  • Excited to be part of a small but growing creative team

  • Open to hands-on training with the Founder


Key Responsibilities

Event Prep

  • Select, organize, and prepare décor items, props, floral materials, and linens

  • Steam or iron linens and ensure all items are event-ready

  • Pull and pack décor from inventory and storage

  • Assist with sample mock-ups or design proposals as needed

On-Site Styling

  • Load/unload décor at venues (indoor & outdoor)

  • Execute balloon arches, floral accents, and tablescapes based on design mockups

  • Style spaces with precision, adjusting for both beauty and function

  • Maintain a clean, polished presentation, down to the last detail

Breakdown & Post-Event

  • Carefully remove and pack décor without damage

  • Return inventory to storage in clean, organized condition

Content Support

  • Assist in capturing post-installation photos or short videos for our archives (no professional experience required)

Qualifications

  • Keen eye for design, detail, and proportion

  • Steady, intentional work pace—never sacrificing quality for speed

  • Comfortable working in a home-based studio, storage facility, and event venues

  • Own reliable vehicle and able to transport décor items (public transportation/Uber/Lyft not suitable)

  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather

  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of service

  • Experience in décor, floral, or event styling is a plus (not required)

  • Life-long learner who appreciates refinement and mastery of skills and experience

Event Styling & Decor Coordinator

Atlanta Metro Area

  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor (W-9 Required)

  • Hours: Event-based | Typically 6–10 hours per event | Hours vary by season and project scope

  • Schedule: Primarily weekends; occasional weekdays for prep, site visits, and meetings.

  • Pay: $20/hr | Pay increases with skill, trust, and experience
